Welcome to Year 2! Here you can find out all about what we will be learning this year. Our Year 2 team is Miss Dix (Year group leader), Mrs Stonestreet and Miss Begum. The Year 2 Curriculum
Each term our projects are carefully planned to ensure all of the objectives for Year 2 are taught in an appropriate sequence. You can find out all about the content of each subject area by visiting our Curriculum Page and selecting the subject you are interested in. Individual subjects are grouped together into common areas, for example STEM subjects such as Science, Computing and DT are under the Science and Technology tab.

How to support your child with their phonics As a school, we use a phonics programme called ' Sounds-Write.' Click on the link below to take to additional ideas and materials that Sounds-Write have produced.

E-books As we are currently unable to change your child's reading books, why not look at the e-books on Oxford Owl? All of the books can be decoded using phonics and many of them are ones we use in school.
