Science and Technology
Science and Technology at Great Denham includes the following National Curriculum areas; Science, D.T. and Computing. Our Science and Technology curriculum team is led by Miss Glover (DT) and supported by Miss Filmer (Science), Mrs Hockaday (Computing) as well as Mrs Graham and Miss Akhter.
Computing is taught largely through iPads, however, there are PC's in each class and we also have some chrome books for Year 6. From Year 3 upwards we offer a 1-1 pad scheme for all our pupils with current take up around 80% of pupils.
At Great Denham, all of these subjects are taught through our project curriculum. Science is taught discretely each week in KS2 as well as through the projects. In KS1 Science is taught through REAL projects.
